Special Learning Expedition « Women in innovation » : December 2017

Sharing the same desire to experiment live this innovation applied in Estonia, very discussed in France and around the world, we decided to keep for women (entrepreneurs, managers, executives in business) this learning expedition co-organized by DigeeTrips.com and Sandy Beky in Tallinn from 6 to 10 December 2017.

E-government pionner, Estonia, is a high-rise innovation place of the 21^st century centered on e-services and the desire to facilitate the daily lives of its citizens for a better quality of life. Going to Estonia means discovering the springs of the first platform state and its consequences on economic actors. An experience that draws an inspiration for innovation, and also an ability to understand the future.

This exploratory trip of which you can discover the program below will allow the participants to meet and exchange with entrepreneurs, experts, companies, incubators, and / or universities of the local ecosystem on areas such as: e-government, blockchain, cybersecurity, e-banking, AI, e-health, e-education.

This initiative is also our response and willingness to act against the alarming results recently published by Gender Scan on the decline of women in Technology sectors in France. These issues of innovation and building tomorrow’s society are a shift that women and men must take together.

Pre-program :

Arrival on Wednesday evening.

3 days on the spot : Thursday and Friday, 4 business appointments per day and one Sharing and Restitution collaborative workshop; Saturday, 4 appointments and visits to better understand the estonian revolution.

3 evenings : Reception at the Embassy or the French institute, typical Estonian sauna evening, dinner in a restaurant with Estonian guests

Understand how a full digital state works
– The e-administration at the Estonian showroom
– Future of Work with the presentation of the e-residence program based on the new ways of workingFuture of Work avec la présentation du programme d’e-résidence basé sur les nouveaux modes de travail
– Meeting and open discussion with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communication

Innovation acceleration
– Discovery and meeting in one of Estonia’s most successful incubators to understand how start-ups are supported and innovate faster than in France (testimonials and exchanges with iconic start-ups of the moment)

– Visit of a unique innovation center, created from the synergy between the Tallinn University of Technology, start-ups, funds, corporates and schools. A case study that bets on the collective intelligence mixing generations, children, students, adults, the professional and associative world, big companies, start-ups, local communities promotind knowledge and technologies transfer.

The challenges of CYBERSECURITY at personal and professional levels :

– Fintech meeting at a neo-bank, opena acounts in cryptocurrency, remote identification by video, mobile banking, innovative payment solutions, the Fintech of tomorrow is already here
– Meeting with a Legaltech, a start-up that makes easier legal and accounting life of Estonian SMEs. Focus on your business services while getting rid of administrative management … the dream of any boss

Saturday, December the 10th
Understand the Estonian revolution foundations

– Innovative vist of the historic part of the city with a start-up, presidential Palace and visit of the Modern Art Museum.
– Lunch in the hipster district.
– Visit of the KGB Museum and the Huose of Design.
– Late Afternoon free for Shopping.
